The Cary High School NJROTC has 7 teams:
  1. 1. Marksmanship Team
  2. 2. Drill Team
  3. 3. Orienteering Team
  4. 4. Athletics Team
  5. 5. Academics Team
  6. 6. Cyberpatriot
  7. ​7. SeaPerch

The Marksmanship Team is a team the uses air rifles to shoot at small targets across a 10 meter range. They regularly practice and go to meets where they compete with other schools.

The Drill Team competes in various competitions across North and South Carolina each year taking home the most trophies each year out of all our
teams

The Orienteering Team is a team designed to test mapping and endurance skills using a compass. Adapting to their environment, they orient themselves and run and endurance course.

The Athletics Team is a team that participates at Drill meets that consists of 4 events: Push-Ups, Curl-Ups, 100m dash, and the 220m dash. With endurance and strength, this team excels with high motivation and morale.

The Academics Team
 takes tests and compete in game show style competitions at a national level

Cyberpatriot is a team event where cadets learn important computer management and security skills that can be applied to competitions or real world scenarios after high school. Cadets attend team practices to hone their knowledge of modern computer systems, and use these skills to progress in round based competition.


SeaPerch is for the hands on cadet who is interested in learning about modern robotics. Using knowledge and resources supplied to us by the U.S. Navy, cadets will build fully functioning submersible robots capable of competing in competitive events such as racing or obstacle courses.
