Advancement Cycles
Advancement cycles in NJROTC are designated periods, often quarterly or every 6 weeks, during which cadets can be promoted based on their academic performance, leadership skills, participation, physical fitness, and conduct. Cadets are evaluated through promotion boards and assessments, with their achievements documented in service records. Successful cadets are promoted to higher ranks, from Cadet Seaman Recruit (C/SR) to Cadet Captain (C/CAPT), and promotions are typically announced during ceremonies to recognize their accomplishments and motivate others.
Cadets, fill out your respective form to begin your advancement cycle. This form is open only for a designated period; failure to complete and submit it within that time period will prevent your cycle from beginning, resulting in no rank advancement.
